Katia Hueso Kortekaas is a biologist and doctor in Society and Culture. She is an associate professor at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas and works as a consultant and teacher on environmental issues, nature conservation and sustainability. She is co-founder of the first modern kindergarten in nature in Spain, the Playing Group in Nature Saltamontes and of the Inclusive Nature initiative, aimed at facilitating contact with nature for families with children with disabilities. She is co-founder of the National Federation Education in Nature, ambassador of the movement “Children of nature worldwide hand in hand”, lecturer, trainer and author, highlighting her books “Somos Naturaleza” (We are nature) and “Jugar al aire libre” (Playing outdoors).
